The Role

As Business Development Lead, you’ll be responsible for building scalable, repeatable systems to generate new business opportunities across EMEA and North America. You’ll drive outbound business development in our core sector—AI—while acting as Skript’s subject matter expert on all things new business. This role is about strategy, execution, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Build & optimize scalable lead generation processes to create a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.

Own outbound business development—identifying, reaching out to, and securing relationships with high-growth AI and tech companies.

Develop targeted outreach campaigns using a mix of email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage key decision-makers.

Act as Skript’s SME for business development, refining our approach to client acquisition and expanding our footprint in the AI sector.

Work closely with the leadership team to shape Skript’s go-to-market strategy and continuously improve sales processes.

Track, analyze, and iterate—use data-driven insights to optimize business development efforts for efficiency and impact.

Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure smooth handovers from business development to execution.

About You

Experience: 3+ years in a business development role, ideally within a recruitment, SaaS, or high-growth tech environment.

AI/Tech sector knowledge: Strong understanding of AI, Deep Tech, or related industries.

Sales expertise: Proven ability to run outbound business development, generate leads, and close new business.

Process-driven: You know how to build scalable systems for prospecting and lead generation.

Excellent communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage senior stakeholders with credibility.

Tech-savvy: Comfortable using automation, AI tools, and CRM systems to optimize outreach.

Self-starter: Able to operate independently, iterate quickly, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
